You'll recall that the Porumbescu violin I purchased is a Christmas present for my daughter.
I do not feel as though I can wait until after Christmas to tell you how pleased I am with the violin.
My initial reaction upon receipt of the instrument was extremely positive.  What a beautiful violin!
I've shown the violin to several people and the impressions were very, very positive.
I have now heard this instrument played by an accomplished musician in a "side by side" comparrison with a very nice
old "established" violin.  We were simply amazed!  I want you to understand how much I appreciate your advice 
and help in selecting this violin.  Your prompt shipment and care in packing is greatly appreciated.
