(My English may be strange because I am not an English native speaker.) Well selected wood and beautiful finish. It has the powerful, brilliant, and deep sound. Well balanced from G strings to E strings. I played it in our orchestra. It has enough volume for a concert master in the orchestra, and especially higher tone is wonderful. All members of the orchestra interested in this rare violin and loved it. It is my great pleasure to play and appreciate it. What a powerful, warm and deep tone it has ! It is easy to play from powerful ff sound to delicate pp sound. (I think Dominant strings are the best matching with this viola.) I'm surprised that this C string pronounces clearly and easy to play. I have 4 violas but this viola is No.1 ! Well selected wood and interesting antiqued finish. It is not so powerful but it has warm tone and easy to play. Good instruments for a beginner, an advanced student, and all amateur players. Thank you. Mike Ueno
