This viola has its own beautiful sound characters and it is the most intresting viola in my violas for me as a player. C.Gliga Viola(w/Ebony setting) is powerful and has deep sound, but sound quality is straight / direct. I think it is good instrument for playing ensemble. Its warm and deep mid range sounds will be fit to these kind of music. V.Gliga Extra Viola has the good sound quality for solo playing. Higher tones are brilliant, and from low to high very even. As this viola is a BABY now, It has not strong C string sound, I believe that I can get deep and powerful C strings sound after I have enough time to play it. The only one negative point is that the pegs do not fit to the peg hole and I can not do tuning smoothly. I will use this viola as the main instrument, and C.Gliga viola as a sub viola for me and my wife who also play viola. And I prefer C.Gliga Fun violin because it is beatiful, interesting, and has good sound quality and power for orchestra playing. About the C.Gliga violin and C.Gliga viola (w/Maple setting), I will sell them with another instrument to get money to pay for V.Gliga Extra Viola. I will recommend Gliga instruments to my friend. If they want to buy Gliga instruments, I will inform you or bit the eBay auction. Thank you Mike Ueno
