I am a parent coordinator for the Strings program at our Elementary school (we have over 500 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade learning to play violin, viola, cello, or bass) and we are in the process of getting the children registered for the school year. Since I knew the String teachers would be there I took the violin for them to see. They thoroughly checked it out and reassured me that I had indeed gotten a very good deal on a beautiful looking and beautiful sounding instrument. Buying it from you has been a wonderful experience. I will certainly recommend you to parents in our program who are looking to "step up" to a really nice instrument. My daughter, Jennifer, thought the old case was neat and had a lot of "character" but I'll get a 3/4 case soon to make sure that the instrument is snuggled in before it gets carried around. Since I have never had an oil varnish instument, I would like to know what you recommend for keeping it nice. I have some instrument polish that I have used in the past but those instruments have had a more shiny (polyurethane) finish. Thanks again for a wonderful shopping experience. Best wishes, Susan
