Dear Jacob.


I apologize for not replying sooner but its been a hectic week.

We received the violin Sunday evening. It is a beautiful instrument
characterized by dramatic, yet subtle grain and evidencing wonderful
craftsmanship.

Our son has had a severe flu for the first part of the week. He played it
a little for the first few days and was quite pleased. Then we went to a
local dealer to shop for a nice case. While there I
noticed that he had a small stock of Helicore strings. We purchased them and
put them on the violin. It dramatically improved the already superior sound.

I think we will be very pleased with it.
